Milano, Italy: Fashion UpToDate Academy from Milan launches an international contest for the assignment of four scholarships for the attendance of courses: Fashion Make-up Trend Portfolio; Fashion Hair-Styling Trend Portfolio; Fashion Styling Trend Portfolio; Fashion Photography Portfolio.
The Academy UpToDate, with headquarters in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, was inaugurated in 2001 with the idea of offering educational services with high technical and creative level – oriented at emerging professions in the field of Fashion and Beauty. This year the Academy has established four scholarships equal to 60% of the tuition fee of the course make-up, hair-styling, fashion-styling and photography Portfolio.
These four courses provide the necessary elements for the making of the professional portfolios for presentation of hair & make-up artists, fashion stylists and photographers to agencies and fashion magazines.
Through a series of theoretical and practical lessons, students are prepared for the final project consisting of two professional photo shoots, on a specific location, with the participation of models, photographers and assistants, all with the supervision of teachers, experts in the fashion industry.
The contest is open to both Italian and foreign citizens provided they have a basic knowledge of the sectors Fashion and Beauty.
All interested can participate by sending their CV and previous projects in the form of 2-5 low-resolution images to the email address contact@fashionuptodate.com before September 20th, 2011. Each week the team of experts and professors of the Academy will select the best works that will subsequently be published on the official blog www.fashionguide.it. The winners will be announced on September 30th.
